Two days ago, the Watan Fund launched the initiative 'Our History in Our Homes' at the 'Pulse of the Farmer' Council in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of over 80 Emirati youth and senior citizens. The initiative focused on enhancing awareness of national history and instilling pride in it as a core component of Emirati national identity. Watan Fund Director-General Yaser Al-Qurashi stated that 'Our History in Our Homes' concentrates on the period from 1900 to 1971, the pre-Union era, and offers a narrative story in an interactive council setting that brings family members together around the milestones of Emirati history and the social and economic features of life at that time.
